Melksham Choral Society is delighted that international concert pianist, Maria Angel Garcia, is playing her grand piano once again for their Spring concert.
The concert, featuring the best of Fauré’s works, will include the well-known lyrical and moving Requiem and a selection of beautiful choral pieces including Cantique de Jean Racine and Pavane. Maria’s superb accompaniment for these pieces will make them even more special.
One of the concert highlights will be the ‘Dolly Suite’ piano duet when Maria will be joined by husband and concert pianist, Tom Worley, who is also Melksham Choral’s musical director.
The concert promises to be a real treat and is not to be missed!
It is taking place in Melksham United Church on Saturday 2 April 2011 at 7.30pm. Tickets (£10, accompanied children free) are available from members or from Melksham Tourist Office.
